OMG My Ex is Getting Married!

Today, I received the shock of my life. I recently called someone I used to date almost a year ago. After our breakup, he stopped talking to me. So anyway, I left a voice mail for him and he emailed me and told me that he is getting married next year.

I feel so weird. I mean, I didn’t think he was THE ONE. That’s why I broke up with him. Yet, why do I feel a bit rejected? Why couldn’t he have wanted to marry me?

Isn’t it interesting how simple thing like an ex getting married can throw us off kilter? I’m certainly feeling a bit….unbalanced. .

Talk about wedding bells cacophany.

My ex and I dated twice — three years apart. Each time, the relationship lasted for 3 months. My only comfort is that I didn’t waste any time on the relationship.
